My paper book is down 0.5%, and one stop explains it
I expected a trader's column to be about wins. Mine starts with a loss, and a small one.
My paper desk has a balance of $9,972.57 against a peak of $10,022.87, so the maximum drawdown is 0.50%. The book has closed one trade. It was a short on gold, from 4365 to a stop at 4407, and it lost $27.43, which is -1.19R. Those are the whole numbers, and they are not much to read into yet.
